The purpose of the CH341 chip is to serve as a USB bus convert chip, providing various functionalities such as UART, printer port, parallel, and synchronous serial interfaces through the USB bus. It can be used to provide alternant rate control signals in UART mode, upgrade common synchronous interface devices to the USB bus, upgrade ordinary parallel printers to the USB bus in printer port mode, and give out 8-bit parallel data in EPP or MEM mode in parallel mode. The chip's function can be configured through SCL and SDA in two modes: assemble configure directly and peripheral chip configure. Assemble configure directly involves connecting SCL to SDA to configure the function of CH341, with characteristics like no additional cost needed and default vendor ID and production ID usage. The information in this mode is similar to the default values in peripheral chip configure except for production ID, and the SDA is low-level within CH341H .
