The TPS2552/devices are designed to eliminate false FAULT reporting by using an internal delay "deglitch" circuit for overcurrent and reverse-voltage conditions until the fault is removed. Additionally, the FAULT logic output is asserted immediately during an overtemperature shutdown condition.
